		<description>I don&#039;t think so. In California that wouldn&#039;t be possible, even if a tenant neglected to answer an unlawful detainer (eviction) lawsuit. Regarding the snooping, depends on the facts. I know about several cases here in which the landlord claimed he was just &quot;maintaining&quot; his multi-unit building.
